CEMBUREAU, the European Cement Association, is pleased to invite you to its webinar: “What’s Buzzing in Our Quarries?”, taking place on September 14, from 10.00 to 11.30 am (CET).
Evidence increasingly showcases the value of quarries, both active and rehabilitated, as abundant sources of pollen and nectar, vital to the survival and prosperity of pollinators. Aligned with CEMBUREAU Biodiversity Roadmap, the EU cement sector has pledged to undertaking strategic actions to support the conservation and rehabilitation of wild pollinator populations within its quarries. This webinar will bring together key stakeholders from the European Commission, academia, and the cement industry to discuss how the sector is not only mitigating pollinator decline but actively contributing to their resurgence across Europe.
This webinar is a partner event of the European Minerals Days.
