We are pleased to invite you to our webinar: "Scaling up our net zero ambition: CEMBUREAU’s roadmap update", taking place on Tuesday, May 21st, from 14:00 to 15:30 (CET).

This webinar is organised to mark the launch our updated 2050 Net Zero Roadmap.

With the EU setting ambitious decarbonisation objectives, the updated roadmap looks at progress made since the publication of CEMBUREAU’s carbon neutrality roadmap in 2020. It outlines a comprehensive strategy, including a 2040 decarbonisation objective, revisited ambitions for 2030 and 2050, and also highlights the policy framework needed to achieve these objectives.

This webinar will unveil the updated roadmap, focusing on the following points:

The cement industry's bolstered ambitions for decarbonisation by 2030 and 2050, including an interim 2040 objective
The key decarbonisation levers to decarbonise the cement and concrete value chain
The critical role of EU and national policies in facilitating technological deployment and scaling necessary for the industry's transformation
The need for cooperation throughout the value chain to achieve this objective
